Communications X v4.0 is here!  This is going to be one of our biggest releases yet!

Included in this new version are three new versions of your favorite codes!  The staff at Communications X has been hard at work making updates for the following codes with no iframes:

Now, with a new update means changes. And we mean big changes!  First off, everyone will be required to have an Entertainment X account.  Second, you will no longer be able to register an individual account for every code you want to use.  We achieve this by making each code an add-on to Entertainment X.  Now that may sound confusing, but it will make it easier to add codes to your forum.  I will try to explain it in a little less confusing way.

When you register an account for Entertainment X v2.0, you will get access to an ACP that you can add other codes to, similar to how Entertainment X v1.0 is.  In Entertainment X v1.0, you had to register an account for each code you wanted and add it to your Entertainment X v1.0 account.  Then you also had to install the long code for Entertainment X v1.0.  Then after it was added, your members would have to go to a not so great looking page and choose what they wanted to do, not exactly the best way to add more features.

 Now, in Entertainment X v2.0, you will be able to click a link inside your Entertainment X v2.0 account that automatically makes and adds the codes to your forum.  That is the main reason you will no longer be able to register individual accounts for each code.  We have also made it so that when you add a code to your account, the link to use the code will automatically appear without you adding any other code besides the code for Entertainment X v2.0.  Also, all new versions of our codes will have the ACP built into Entertainment X’s v2.0 ACP so that you will only need once ACP to manage multiple accounts.
 
 Now I am sure you are wondering, “what about the codes I already registered!?”.  We will make it so that you can add your old accounts to your Entertainment X v2.0 account and so that you can take advantage of the new features in Entertainment X v2.0.
 
A great example of how this works is IPB.  They have it so that when you install a forum, you can add “components” so that the forum has more features.  This is the same idea with Entertainment X v2.0.  When you register an account for Entertainment X (“the forum” from IPB example) and add the code for Entertainment X to your forum, you can add codes (“the components” from the IPB example) so that your forum has more features.

So here are the steps you need to do to take advantage of Communications X v4.0:

1.  Register a Entertainment X v2.0 account.
2. Remove all the code for all Communication X codes you have installed.
3. Follow the instructions to install Entertainment X v2.0.
4. Login to the ACP for Entertainment X v2.0.
5. Click on the "Components" tab at the top of the ACP.
6. Pick a code you want to add to your forum or pick the codes you used to have installed on your forum.
7. Follow the directions for each code you pick.
8. Enjoy the new features with half the work!
